The Clark Fork
This home is a classically styled Timber Frame Hybrid, based upon our popular Bear Creek model. This home was customized and modified for a couple building in Bear Lake, Idaho. What do we mean by hybrid? A traditional timber frame home has a skeleton made of cut timbers, fitted to each other. The Goodwood is a 3787 SF home on two levels. It has three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Open living on the main floor combines the living, kitchen, and dining. The Goodwood has a large open deck on the view side and a welcoming covered porch to protect awaiting guests from the rain. COLORADO CABIN RETREAT- #4
Now that the log walls are stacked out, it’s time to start on the roof system. While setting the walls takes some skill, it is quickly learned, and repeated over, and over, and over again. This cabin stacked out pretty quickly. With the roof system being set, comes an order of magnitude in complication. In some log packages, we will have to cut the rake on the log wall for the gable.
